1. About SwapFit
SwapFit is a South African-based online marketplace where users can buy and sell gently-used clothing and shoes for adults and kids. We also offer an opportunity for users to create their own mini-shops.
2. User Eligibility
To use SwapFit, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old or have parental consent.
- Provide accurate, complete registration details.
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
3. Seller Policy
Sellers are responsible for:
- Ensuring their listings are accurate and clearly describe the items.
- Shipping sold items promptly and as described.
- Setting their own prices, including any shipping fees.
- Offering Minimum 5 items per sale, only sell in bulk.
We reserve the right to suspend or remove sellers who violate these rules or our marketplace ethics.
4. Buyer Policy
Buyers must:
- Pay for items in a timely manner.
- Read all item descriptions carefully.
- Contact the seller directly in case of order issues.
All purchases are considered final unless otherwise stated in the seller’s return policy.
5. Payments
SwapFit may use third-party services (e.g., Yoco,) to process payments. By using our platform, you agree to the terms of these providers.
6. Fees
Registration is FREE
SwapFit applies a 13% commission on each successful sale. This includes a 10% fee to cover administration, handling, and tracking services, and a 3% fee for third-party payment processing. All fees will be transparently shown before listing a product or finalizing a transaction.
Sellers must clearly display the price of their products along with any applicable shipping or delivery costs on SwapFit.
Buyers are responsible for paying both the item price and any associated shipping or delivery charges.
7. Prohibited Items
You may not list or sell:
- Counterfeit goods
- Stolen items
- Items not in your possession
- Hazardous or illegal products
SwapFit reserves the right to remove any listing at our discretion.
8. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use SwapFit for fraudulent or unlawful purposes
- Harass or abuse other users
- Attempt to hack or harm the platform
9. Account Suspension or Termination
SwapFit reserves the right to suspend or permanently disable any user account for violating these Terms.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on SwapFit—including logos, designs, and text—is the property of SwapFit or its licensors. Do not copy or redistribute content without permission.
11. Liability Disclaimer
SwapFit is a facilitator only. We are not responsible for any disputes between buyers and sellers, including item quality, shipping issues, or damages.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of SwapFit constitutes your acceptance of any changes.
